The Miracle of St. Joseph of Cupertino

St. Joseph of Cupertino (1603–1663) was a humble Franciscan friar, known for his deep devotion and simplicity.

Despite struggling in his studies, his extraordinary faith led him to be ordained as a priest.

During Mass and moments of intense prayer, Joseph would often fall into ecstasy and be seen levitating high above the ground.

Witnesses included fellow friars, townspeople, and even Pope Urban VIII, who personally observed Joseph lift into the air.

Because of this gift, Joseph became known as “The Flying Saint.”

He is now the patron saint of students, aviators, and all who face great trials in life, reminding us that with faith, the impossible becomes possible.

Message: True holiness lifts the soul beyond the weight of the world.
